Vintage Styled Shoot – Avonne Photography

Avonne Photogarphy pulled together an amazing vintage styled shoot that not only focused on shades of green and ivory, but also shined a light on a particular individual whom shes grown quite fond of since capturing her wedding photos!

” I have known Amanda for a long time. We went to high school in the same district but we had never officially met until she acquired about wedding coverage years later. After we broke the ice of the many things we had in common, we instantly clicked. She began to tell me how she was never the “pretty girl” growing up. She was bullied being called horrible names for her height and many other things. She never wanted her picture taken because she never like how she looked and never wanted to be the center of attention. She explained to me that she struggled with her self esteem for many years and may have a hard time posing for the wedding. We shot her engagements, and I encouraged her every step of the way with a #YASS every five minutes. She nailed it and told me later that I made her feel extremely comfortable. Her wedding rolled around in August of 2016 and she was radiant as ever. She nailed that one too and she thanked me for hours on helping her slowly regain her self esteem back. I was planning this styled shoot and wanted to find a model that was not a model. Not someone who dresses up for a living and is unphased by being the center of attention. I wanted someone who by putting on a wedding dress and makeup would be over the moon excited. That was Amanda. I asked and she agreed within two seconds. She supported me every step of the way in the planning process of this styled shoot.”
