A wedding that incorporates gold and ivory always sets the tone for a romantic and luxurious event. Feelings of romance and luxe (yes, luxe is an adjective) are what came to mind when these images popped up our inbox.
From designer and wedding planner Posh Luxury Events
The inspiration behind this shoot came from my love for all things vintage and the cozy winter season. I knew that vintage was going to be my main theme but I wanted to add some glam and a winter feel. So, of course, gold was my number one color! When you think of vintage you think of gold. I also wanted to tie in lace and the vintage pin up hairstyle but with a more modern and sexy feel. For the florals I wanted it all white along with my linens to give it that winter effect.
To coordinate everything and bring my vision to life, I reached out to some of my amazing fellow wedding industry creatives in the Chicago area. I simply told them my vision (lots of gold and bling!) and what I was looking for and allowed them the space to let their creative juices flow.
I want brides to get a feel of what their set up could look like if they were to choose a theme something similar to this. I’ve been planning for 2 years and from the day that I knew weddings were my calling my number one goal is to inspire brides. My business will celebrate it’s official one year anniversary in June and I’m very happy about that.
Enjoy!
