“Une fille doit être deux choses: chic et fabuleuse.” – Coco Chanel

From the Designer, Posh Events Co:

When Shelly Taylor Photography came to us with the idea of a Chanel inspired shoot, we were ecstatic.  This styled shoot was a chance for us to intertwine the best of both worlds for Posh Events Co., weddings and fashion. We chose a classic black and white color combination with a hint of light pink. Our vendor team filled the Clifton House of Waco, Texas with an array of romantic aesthetics.  We delicately placed white plates with black chargers atop a chic mirrored table from Pendley’s rentals.

From the Photographer:

Karen of Posh Events Co. was the designer who immediately came to mind when I began to envision this shoot. I knew she was the one to combine the couture inspiration with wedding loveliness, and she went above and beyond what I imagined. Her attention to detail and impeccable style is the heart behind this shoot and behind her business.

Large black vases dripping with pearls held an exquisite arrangement of florals, including mother of pear and pink Sophie roses, silver brunia, Pom-Pom ranunculus, anemones, David Austin roses, white dahlias, and pink hydrangeas.

Studio W provided the Chanel inspired custom table numbers, place cards, and a palatable menu. Their custom invitations were a sleek black and white design with a touch of gold.

Posh Events Co. designed a black backdrop for the desert table with handmade flowers strung about to create an elegant sight for guests. The wedding cake, prepared by All Sugar’d Up, was four tiers of intricately designed goodness, from the delicate sugar flowers to the white quilted pattern embossed cake.  It was placed on a chandelier cake stand, and mirrored stands were adorned with cupcakes.
