The inspiration for this quiet, serene styled shoot was a young woman writing to the love of her life, who she missed with all of her heart. Surrounded by old architecture and beautiful flowers, ribbons, and jewelry, she is inspired to revive the use of antique writing instruments to convey her love and write down all of the little things she wants to remember to say to him.
The setting for this shoot is one of Jacksonville’s newest indoor venues, Brick and Beam. Located in the historic Springfield District, this beautiful brick building has had many lives over the years. It’s been a warehouse, a bar, a vacant monstrosity, and finally a place for happiness as people rent it out for festivities. It was the perfect setting for this peaceful, thoughtful shoot.
