Chris and Kassy had a summer wedding at The Arbors in North Carolina that was filled with subtle blush and champagne tones. What stood out the most about their wedding day and the couple overall is the love that they share for each other. The way that Chris looks at Kassy is what defines marriage, and this isn’t just one sided.

When I asked Kassy to describe their relationship in just 3 words, it was impossible. The words supportive, cohesive, genuine, devoted, fun loving, virtuous, trustworthy, realistic, boundlessly energetic all came out immediately. And they couldn’t be truer. Watching them interact gives me all the feels. They have genuine respect for one another, they admire each other, & they {LOVE} each other with every ounce of themselves. It made photographing them a dream.
When Kassy was planning this wedding, she wanted to allow the beauty of the venue to speak for itself. With subtle blush and champagne tones to accompany her wedding details and Maid of Honor, Ashley Bost’s, dress, this bride pulled off her vision seamlessly. They wanted to focus their wedding on themselves, but without forgetting their closest friends and family. And they hit it out of the park! Before walking down the aisle, Chris & Kassy met for a private first look where they exchanged hand written vows to each other. Let me tell you, it was tough to not bawl my eyes out during that one…Chris’ sister, Jessica, also conducted the actual ceremony. Opposed to the traditional father/daughter & mother/son dances being done separately, they danced together, uniting their families as one. It was these subtle details that made the night one for the books.
But enough talking, let’s see the photos!!
