Morgan and Will had a true Southern wedding at The Palmetto Club in Columbia, South Carolina. Their March 19, 2016 ceremony was picture perfect, with genuine Southern charm.
Morgan is so sweet and creative, and loves all things southern, vintage, and she practically DIY’d every detail of her day with ideas that are meaningful to her and Will.
Morgan and Will’s day was one of my favorites. The first look for Will and Morgan was outside of Lexington Baptist Church, her family’s home church. They met in front of a vintage 1928 Oakland car owned by a family friend and the moment was full of emotion and joy. The clouds gave us the perfect amount of cover from the sun!
The two had a Palmetto Club wedding reception, and every little detail had a story. That’s what I love about Morgan, she puts thought into everything she creates. Morgan decorated the reception with birdcages that she found at Michael’s, to go along with their theme of “Two T-birds”, after Will’s nickname T-bird from his last name. The birdcages had notes of important dates to Morgan & Will, along with fruits of the spirit and other meaningful words. The birdcage in the foyer belonged to Morgan’s parents, and was the same birdcage they had at their reception, restored by her father. How perfect that the wedding became a bird theme for Will’s nickname?!
Morgan wanted a large bouquet with mint and pink ribbons, pink bridesmaids dresses in a classic cut, and a princess gown with a 50 foot veil! Her day was a dream!
