Bobbie has managed the very prominent bridal gown shop in Waterloo Region, Sophie’s Gown Shoppe for 10 years. In that time she has dressed thousands of women on the best day of their lives, so naturally when it was her time for her own big day every detail was perfect.
Bobbie created a glamorous look based on copper, grey, blush and black. These colors brought her stunning wedding from day to night. She was inspired by Old Hollywood glamour and her hair style, fur stole and glitzy decor reflected that. The details were perfect, down to the rose champagne served at midnight.
Bobbie & Greg’s wedding was a very family-oriented affair. Bobbie’s two daughters played a big role in the wedding and were there from the beginning of the day until the end. Bobbie took dance lessons at her daughter Taylor’s studio, and along with one of her best friends performed a Beyonce-inspired dance with a group of very talented young dancers (including Taylor) from the studio. Her bridesmaids were all not just friends but brides who had gotten their dresses from Sophie’s – so before they put on their bridesmaids dresses they donned their gowns and took a photo together.
