Ethereal and elegant, yet simple and very laid back would be the perfect words to describe Haley and John’s summer wedding. The ceremony was held in a beautiful open meadow underneath a rustic arch and featured lots of greenery with pops of pink flowers and hanging amaranths. The cocktail hour, held on the porch of the property’s cute white cottage, was complete with twinkly lights and of course, chips, queso and Mexican cokes in a bottle. The reception was held in the garden center’s Greenhouse. The mother of the bride did the floral arrangements and prepared each table with a botanical box with bright flowers or a terrarium with lots of moss, succulents and flowers. They added touches of mint green from the napkins and copper from the candle votives to complete the look.

John and Haley grew up at the same church and fell in love through youth camps and Sunday mornings, so they had both their youth pastor and church pastor perform the ceremony. They incorporated little touches of their relationship throughout their wedding like: passing out the bubbles for the grand exit in a basket the couple brought home from a missions trip to Haiti, and playing Hall and Oates “You Make My Dreams Come True” as we walked back down the aisle. Haley was glad they invested in an amazing photographer, Andrea Hallgren, to remember their day.  Of the day she says, “The wedding was sweet, classy, and just a pure reflection of the love we have for each other, God, our family and friends!”
