Happy Valentine’s Day!!!
We first introduced you to Alicia on our IG account. We fell in love with just one image from her wedding and felt the need to share the entire nuptials here on the blog.
Special thanks to Alicia for allowing us the opportunity to share in the delight of her wonderful wedding to her now husband, Michael, on the beautiful island of Aruba!!
Here is the love story! Enjoy!
How We Met
My husband and I met in Cancun Mexico back in 2007 as we were both vacationing with our friends on spring break. To say “we fell in love in a hopeless place” is an understatement. After spending the whole entire vacation together our relationship pretty much followed suit, and we both have been on cloud 9 ever since.
The Wedding Planning Process
Our first official vacation together was in Aruba in 2009 and as special as that was, the island had become a second home to us as we visited once a year up until today. We knew we would somehow have to pull off getting all our friends and family to the island for our wedding.
August 11th, 2013 on the Renaissance Private Island in Aruba our dream came true. Sixty of our closest friends and family watched as we started our new lives together. It was an absolute dream come true. I planned every inch of the wedding down to the straws our guests drank out of and I loved every second of it.
