Jessilon and Joel got married at the Foxwood Inn Bed and Breakfast in West Virginia.
There are times as a photographer that everything just falls into place so perfectly that you almost have to pinch yourself and say “is this really your life?” … That was the wedding of Jessilon and Joel at the Foxwood Inn Bed and Breakfast in Flatop, West Virginia. It was the first time I had gotten to shoot at this venue and as soon as I arrived I was immediately smitten with the scenery and Jessilon’s choice of wedding decor, it was perfect for them. I knew before I got there that Jessilon had chosen to wear a pink dress for her her wedding, and I was so excited that I was pretty much giddy and it surely did not disappoint.
The entire day was really something that should be in a magazine (and the possibility of that still happening is strong) and I am so honored that the chose Jasmine Rose Photography to capture their big day. While it rained and was windy on and off before and during the ceremony, it wasn’t enough to send any of us scrambling indoors, but just enough for the sky to act as the perfect lighting softbox. Jessilon and Joel are both so creative – Jessilon actually hand-painted their guestbook for all of their guests to put their thumb print on. There were novels wrapped in moss, greenery everywhere, and babysbreath to set it all off. The colors were on point, the wardrobe couldn’t have been better .. and this day is still making my heart race! – Jasmine Rose Photography
