There are so many benefits that come along with meal prepping. Some of the obvious ones include saving money (benefit X 200 in you live and work in New York City!), you waste less food and lastly weight loss. When I began my meal prep journey it was to save money but the added benefit of losing weight didn’t hurt.
Prior to meal prepping I would get to the office around 9am and would not get up from my desk until 11am and that was to ensure that I did not miss the breakfast truck and my sausage, egg and cheese on a bagel, lightly toasted with butter (it’s a New York thing). I know it’s so shameful. I did not have time to make a nutritious filling meal prior to getting to the office because I would rather spend this extra few minutes sleeping or blogging or checking e-mails or strolling through social media. That’s where meal prepping comes in; just set aside a little time in the evening to get your ingredients together, and you’ll have a healthy breakfast ready to go for the entire week.
