Baby Davidson’s neutral baby shower took place in Chicago, IL in January of 2020. First time parents Ellen and Brian were adamant that there are few true surprises in life and they would wait to find out the sec of their baby once he or she is born. It was important for them to keep the baby shower details as neutral as possible.
Mandy Marie Creative was hired to plan and design this Up in the Sky themed baby shower. The inspiration came from the Davidson’s animal inspired nursery and Cindy’s Rooftop 13th Floor skyline views overlooking Millennium Park and Lake Michigan.
Creative partners including Nuage Designs, Field & Florist and Artifacture Studios collaborated to provide customized and colorful decor, textures and elements that enhanced the overall aesthetic of the rooftop bar and restaurant. Mandy Marie Creative had the oversized Hot Air-Balloons constructed to serve as the focal point of the entire design and space.
Mama-to-Be, Ellen, glowed in a plum-purple lace gown on the 31st week of pregnancy.
The Davidson’s baby girl was born on March 11, 2020 and was named Ana Maria after her great grandmother. Congratulations to the family!
