When Amanda went to Jennifer Matteo Event Planning, she wanted all glitz! Jennifer and her team took her vision and made it just perfect.
The ceremony took place at Rooftop 220, a rooftop that overlooks downtown Tampa and the Riverwalk. It features a gorgeous view with a partially covered walkway and plants along the sides perfect for pictures. The space didn’t need much decor to turn the space into a beautiful ceremony. White chivari chairs lined the aisle and the altar was delicately framed with sheer white drapes. When guests made their way from the ceremony to the reception they walked up the original wood stairs lined with greenery and dozens of candles on either side. At the top of the staircase was a 7 foot mirrored seating chart.
The reception was in the Theater of Armature Works. The room, as the name implies, was once the theater of the former TECO Streetcar Warehouse which was completely re-purposed and rehabbed last year. The Theater features exposed brick walls, original wood flooring, and windows that look out over the Riverwalk. The room was designed with 10 round tables that had elegant white table cloths, white textured napkins, and glass chargers with gold beading. The sweetheart table located in the center and featured a gold sequin table cloth, accented with a custom made white frame erected behind the table.
Amanda looked ultra-chic in her contemporary lace wedding gown with a high neckline and cap sleeves. Her dazzling tiara and rhinestone encrusted pumps completed the look. Amanda carried a lush bouquet made of white garden roses, white stock, lemon leaf and seeded eucalyptus, similar to the bouquets of her bridal party that shimmered in their gold bridesmaid’s gowns.
Gus, is a West Point graduate and served 5 years in the Army. To honor him, and other veteran guests at the wedding, the last song of the night was “God Bless the USA- I’m Proud to be an American”. Guests gathered around and waved mini flags and sang at the top of their lungs. Such a memorable moment. Congratulations to the handsome couple. Ledia Tashi Photography captured the pictures below. Enjoy!
