Danielle and Mike had a wedding that was the party of the year on New Year’s Eve at The Dayton Art Institute.
As guests entered The Rotunda, they were directed through the museum’s gallery to The Great Hall where gold uplighting changed the feel of the room to become more intimate and romantic. Manzanita branches marked the start of the aisle. On each chair, a program and party horn laid for guests to read and celebrate with after Mike and Danielle were pronounced husband and wife!
After the newlywed’s exit from the ceremony, guests were directed back through the gallery and into The Rotunda where they were greeted with drinks and cocktails that included Brie and Fig Jam Tart, Bacon Wrapped Shrimp, Eggplant Caponata, and Smoked Salmon Macaroons.
Once pictures were finished, guests were invited into the Shaw Gothic Cloister where the tables were dressed with black linens, gold chargers, and various sizes of floral centerpieces. The salad served was a mix of greens topped with candied walnuts, blueberries, dried cranberries, feta, and balsamic vinaigrette dressing. Guests had a choice of braised short ribs, pan-roasted chicken breast, or an eggplant meatball served with mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables, and an artisan dinner roll. An hour before midnight, an after-hours meal was served with miniature cheeseburgers and shoestring fries. Festive glasses, party horns, and hats were supplied for guests as we rang in the new year at midnight!
