Alysia and Simon dreamed of a wedding day where they could let their hair down, be crazy, and be wild.  What better place than the jungle? Exotic and enchanting, the couple fell in love with the jungle’s energy.  For decor, they enhanced the natural aura of the jungle with netting and liana plants.  The ceremony arch was created from twisted thin tree trunks made beautiful with a charming hand-made macramé curtain.  Florist,  A Wild Romance, used flowers and verdure: giant cacti, ferns, extremely high trees, rose bushes, multiple forest flowers, and sprigs with berries to create… well a wild, romantic landscape.

Everything about the wedding was free and simple.  The bride carried no bouquet, and wore no jewelry or veil.  The groom styled himself in trendy separates.  The couple didn’t toast champagne but rather cranberry sparkling punch and peach whiskey smash.

The best part of the evening was climbing the rocky shore near the ceremonial site so that Corinna & Dylan Photography could catch their natural energy among nature’s elements.  Alysia’s advice to those planning a wedding: “Be crazy, do not ignore natural landscapes as a wedding location. Run away from the city hustle and bustle to the edge of civilization – here you will find true fulfilling energy.”

How will your wedding capture your spirit?
