The Swan House was built in 1928 as the Jazz age came to an end. It was designed by architect Philip Trammell Shutze who coordinated renaissance with classic elements. The front of the house is regal and stately while the rear of the Swan House is less formal with it’s covered entrance.
Built for the Inman family (Mr. and Mrs. Edward and Emily Inman) as a place to entertain in the northern Atlanta area, Emily lived there until 1965. The house was acquired by the Atlanta Historical Society in 1966.
The Swan House Atlanta wedding editorial shoot was hosted by G and A Weddings with a slightly Gatsby feel without feeling to overly done.
