Kelly and Conner were married in January, on a cold and blistery day. But the heat was on inside, with this gorgeous couple, who are so in love.

Kelly and Connor met while at the University of Arkansas, when they were set up by mutual friends. After graduation, they both moved back to Dallas, where their families lived. She graduated from Nursing school, and he became a CPA. He soon proposed, and he got himself a big fat yes!

The style for this wedding was unbelievable! A favorite color palate, all whites and creams, created a romantic and elegant wedding. The flowers by Haute Floral were over the top.

The Dallas Scottish Rite Museum is a rare find for Dallas. An incredibly ornate building from the late 1800’s in downtown Dallas, is such a pretty choice for a wedding reception. Added with the cream walls and elaborate bridal room, it’s a great choice!

Sue Kelson Events, Dallas Wedding Planner, added a special ltouch to the place settings. She ordered brooches, in all different sizes and colors, and added a cream ribbon, which she used as a special detail on the napkin. It was the perfect touch.

When Kelly’s parents were married, her dad, Paul, said the one thing he wanted at his wedding, was “the little bride and groom on top of the cake.” Kelly’s mom, Karen, of course has saved this, and their special topper was used on the top of the cake. And with even a little bit of frosting from her parents wedding, still on the bride and groom!

A lovely moment is when the bride and groom have a “last dance” together. This is a special time, for just the two of them, along with their photographer, just enjoy the room and their reception one last time. To take it all in, enjoy the experience, as a new husband and wife. Kelly says that the last dance was the favorite memory of her wedding day…just her and her new husband alone, dancing.

Their wedding day was special, as Kelly remembers, as they had a large number of family and friends who traveled near and far to celebrate with them. It meant so much to the couple to have everyone near them on their special day!
