This magical, festive new year’s eve wedding celebration was brought to life by H & L Lovely Creations at The Harper in Costa Mesa, CA. The wedding colors were black, gold, and rose gold, which, when coordinated together, makes a bold statement in preparation for the new year. But not to be forgotten, these colors can work for an elegant black-tie affair anytime of the year.
The Harper is a jewel found hidden in an unlikely industrial part of the city. Well secluded, with it’s vast private courtyard, which comes with a ready-made altar area, just waiting for any bride & grooms’ creative vision to come to life. The venue also has a large bridal suite. This is where photographer Lori Phillips Photography captured every graceful moment from the bride, Akira Milton. Hair and makeup were perfected by OnPointe Beauty by Taryn and complemented the glittery-gold tulle gown by designer Soul Haven Boutique. And for the icing on top, Akira was adorned by hair jewelry and matching earrings from Green Alaska Studio. Friar Tux showed their quality in a classic black tux, worn by the groom, Minh (@minvoochan), and the collaborators added a sparkly rose gold bow-tie, provided by Dapper Gent.
Speaking of sparkle, be sure to check out the fun heart-shaped sparklers by Broadway Bridal Sparklers in the last few images of the feature, they are perfect for those grand exits. Mia’s Martini was the preferred mixologist, and her specialty concoctions displayed well in the event trailer bar from Dalton and Company. Every detail, the stationery, furniture rentals, floral designs, cake, specialty candies, and table settings, were fit for a grand finale of the year!
