This gorgeous Washington, DC mini wedding took place on the stairs of Carnegie Institution for Science back on June 20th, 2020. Shemika and Jerry were serenaded by the sweet sounds from violinist, Marvillous Beats, and with their closest family and friends as witnesses they vowed to love each other forever.  The day was not what they envisioned, but it is one they will never forget.

The ceremony took place on the stairs of Carnegie Institution for Science and was officiated by Crystal Johnson.  Their ceremony was absolutely stunning and the epitome of classic, modern romance.    Due to COVID-19, the couple had to find an alternative location to wed because of venue closures.  Their planner, Kristy of Stunning Soirees, diligently worked to find a new location and coordinated with vendors to ensure the couple got married on the date they had set their hearts on for over a year.

Photographer,Trene Forbes Photography was on location to capture memories that will last a lifetime. Shemika and Jerry will have a wedding day story to tell for the rest of their lives.
