Rachel and Beaudan met at a dinner party that a mutual friend was hosting. They didn’t know at the time, but it was a secret set up! Thankfully the set up was successful because the couple has been together pretty much ever since. For the proposal, Beaudan and Rachel planned a day trip to Jasper (Alberta Canada), and had a few touristy things and places on their agenda. One of their stops for the day was a short, secret little hike that not many people know about. Rachel took Beaudan there to show him the view that overlooks the entirety of Jasper  with its mountain valley views.  It was amazing!    Beaudan decided that since they were alone in such a beautiful spot, it would be the perfect proposal site!    He had a little speech prepared as they sat on the rocks looking at the view, and then he got on one knee and asked her to marry him! Rachel happily said yes!!

For their engagement session the couple traveled out to Canmore (Alberta, Canada) for the weekend and on the day of their engagement session they got to spend some fun time outside in the mountains, then headed out to their wedding venue to do some food testing and planning! Making a date out of the engagement photos definitely set a fun, romantic, and relaxed mood for this shoot, check it out below, captured by Teller of Tales Photography.
