New York natives Corrine & Eric worked with photographer Kristina Staal to create a whimsical and romantic look for their engagement shoot, which took place in Central Park in Manhattan.  Kristina shares details about the engagement session:

When you think of Manhattan, you don’t really think of lots of greenery with a whimsical, flowy and romantic feel. A lot of the time, you think urban, buildings, high fashion, and edgy shoots. Central Park is like a little gem in the midst of chaos, offering a serene oasis away from the craziness of Manhattan. When planning this engagement session, Corrine chose two dresses – one that was soft and flowy, while the other had a pop of color, but still flowy as well. By profession, Corrine is a hair and make up artist, so she did her hair perfectly, and she picked Eric’s matching out fit as well!

The day of the shoot we had so much fun. We walked around Central Park while we laughed and talked. At one point, I was photographing Corrine & Eric in the Mall area of the park. Suddenly, they became really still and their eyes widened and I could see Eric whispering something to Corrine. I had no clue what was going on, until my husband whispered to start clicking photos! TONS of runners came running by with Corrine & Eric right in the middle. We couldn’t have planned the photos any better! One of my favourite parts of the shoot was seeing Corrine’s engagement ring. It is so beautiful and so unique – it’s one of the most unique engagement rings I’ve ever seen.
