Well here we are at the 6 months mark on our wedding countdown.  Our Save the Dates have been mailed and people should be receiving them this week.  I thought today was the right day to share our engagement photos with everyone.  They were taken by the ever so talented Joshua Dwain.  Side note – I knew that I wanted Joshua to be my wedding photographer waaaaaaay before I got engaged.  When I presented his work to my fiancé and after we all met in person we saw that the fit was perfect.  He is an awesome photographer who was actually able to capture my fiancé smiling.  He never smiles!!   I need to acknowledge Joshua’s wife whose presence on the day of the shoot helpd to make it a huge success!

Our shoot was originally scheduled for a day when it rained so we rescheduled for what turned out to be the coldest day in October.  The shoot took place at The Grounds for Sculpture in Hamilton, NJ. We had two outfit changes and the overall shoot was styled an conceptualized by yours truly.  It was cold and we did not get to use the facility like we wanted to but I think that everything came out just as it was supposed to…perfect.

We did three different Save the Dates designs, a photo magnet, a die cut photo card and a puzzle.  I found the puzzle on Etsy but it was not being sold as a Save the Date.  The seller is Brown Fox Creative. Once I saw the puzzles, I sent a convo to the seller, Kristin and once I found out the dimensions and all the details, I decided to use it as a Save the Date.  Kristin was awesome to work with her Etsy shop has tons of wedding stationery.  We definitely recommend Brown Fox Creative!!

I got the boxes from ETSY seller Tange Design and the metallic gold tissue paper from ETSY seller Morrell Decor.
