What Happens At the Bachelorette Party….
Stays at the Bachelorette Party
Hen Night: Last weekend’s forecast: Mostly drunk with a high chance of memory loss!
Have I mentioned that I have the most amazing friends EVER! I wouldn’t trade them for anyone or anything the world!
Capitalizing on the Halloween weekend, my bridesmaids along with my extended circle of friends, planned one crazy night full of games, alcohol and of course “THEE ENTERTAINMENT”!
One thing I have learned about myself during these bridal events is, unfortunately I do not handle surprises very well… #ImSorry The pokey person in me wants to read between all the lines trying to figure out what is going on, while the unobservant person in me answers all questions without a second thought (like providing my girlfriend Gina with a list of my most favorite “panty dropping” songs).
The weekend that my fiance Damien was off-island, Kyta asked if I would join her and her sons for a weekend getaway in a hotel suite. Pizza, toys and a pool for the boys – makeup and gossip for Kyta, Gina and I. Well, let me tell you…I showed up late, and very under-dressed when I walked into the hotel room (baggy sweatpants and a T-shirt). I opened the door to 20 beautifully dressed ladies screaming “SURPRISE!” So sorry Kyree and Damori, Aunt Kalley is here to take you home – Mama ‘bout to let loose!!!!
A change of clothes, shoes, accessories and my Bachelorette sash were laid out on the bed when I stepped into the bedroom of the hotel suite. Damien was even in on the surprise. He somehow managed to pack a variety of items without me even noticing, you know we girls need lots of options! Kyta thinks she was slick telling me we would play around with makeup (if anyone knows me, they know that I do not go out without a little foundation, mascara and lipstick) – She had that on lock!
This is where my memory becomes a little fuzzy…
After a few pictures, it was time to board the party bus for a night out on the town. We hit a few bars, danced a little (of course!), then the bus took us back to the hotel where my alter ego came alive and I do not recall the rest of the night. It’s safe to say that I had a BLAST of a night!
My time as a Coordinated Bride is soon coming to an end as my countdown has reached single digits until #SatDaeSayIDo (so sad) #Nov10Bride.
