Hi!   It’s Rebeca and It’s been 3 months since we (Art & I) said “I Do” but it feel like it was just yesterday that I walked down the aisle. If you would tlike to catch up, you can read my prior posts as a Guest Bride Blogger {Here}.  There are so many words that go through my mind when I try to describe that special day. I remember thinking this is it, in just a few hours Art and I will be husband and wife. Two whole years of planning this wedding I honestly couldn’t believe it was happening. It was so surreal, that day went by so fast! I’m just so grateful for the amazing team of vendors who helped make it happen and of course our videographers and photographers who were there to capture every moment of our day.

Icy cold weather, a broken flower vase and a late bridesmaid dress pick up, among other things, all happened that day. Yes, it is true what most brides and planners say, as much as you plan for everything to be perfect, you have to know that there may be one or two things that might go wrong and you won’t have much control over it. The best advice that I could give is to not worry about a thing.  Sit back and relax and just try to take it all in, this is your day and no matter what may go wrong, at the end of the day you would be marry to your love, you have had already say your vows, ate your wedding cake and had danced the night away with your new husband!

Neither of these thing could compare to the way I felt as my dad and I made our way into that ceremony room and walked down the aisle. Seeing Art’s face as he looked at me for the first time in my dress (we didn’t have a first look) made my heart beat so fast, I got goose bumps all over! When we were introduced as Mr. and Mrs. for our first dance was one of the best highlights of the day. I remember Art and I were standing outside the reception room, and the coordinator was coming out and I happened to get a glimpse of the wedding cake.  It completely stopped me in my tracks and like a little girl I pulled Art towards the room and went straight to the cake table.   Cakes Rock really took all of our ideas and created a beautiful piece of Art, we were so stunned by how beautiful the colors popped, not to mention the flowers around it and center pieces. Walking in that room and seeing everything for the first time was a dream.

We were so happy to see everyone having a great time together. They were all there to celebrate our love and union and that brought so much happiness to us. The joy we felt as we took the time to take it all in. Our wedding day was truly the best day ever.

Now as Art and I are getting ready to move in to our new home, we couldn’t be happier.  I can see how God is working in our lives and is filling us with his blessings every day. I’m so thankful that he gives me the chance to love this man and be loved by him every day.

I’m so grateful to have been able to share my journey with all of you lovely coordinated ladies!
