Rustic yet elegant, fun yet classic and simple yet extravagant looking- these must be the standards that Heather and Thomas were looking for in a perfect venue for their wedding day. Perfection brought by the right balance between those extreme qualities. Such standards were all met by a barn at the Bonnet Island Estate, New Jersey.

Barn weddings are becoming a recent favorite choice for those couples who prefer a venue with an outdoorsy vibe for their wedding day. Since garden weddings and beach weddings have always been popular, despite it being a dreamy wedding venue, couples tend to look for something more different. This is why a rustic barn wedding is often the perfect choice for those looking for such kind of wedding venue.

The dilemma for a rustic barn wedding is that it can be very difficult to incorporate elegance on it-but not with Heather and Thomas’ wedding. The ambiance of the entire wedding set-up screamed classiness despite it happening in a barn.

Sophistication is so evident on Heather’s modified A-line with off shoulder wedding gown, matched with the extremely posh tuxedo of Thomas. Both looked so good together. On the other hand, the wedding venue had that rustic feel with wooden chairs and walls painted in white with real stones used as decoration.

The wedding reception venue however was the perfect balance of rustic and classy. Despite it happening on an actual looking barn, the inside was so elegant. From the tables and chairs, to flower decorations and food, everything was so classy. It’s like they moved an expensive hotel’s events space inside a barn.

The newlywed couple looked so dreamy dancing on that wooden floor with that subtle yellow light radiating around them. You can feel the love all around us as they slow danced their way to the night. Yet of course, a barn wedding is not a barn wedding without an upbeat music to gather the people on the dance floor. Getting the best out of everything.

Truly, Heather and Thomas’ wedding took the typical rustic barn wedding into a transported into a whole new level.
